Established in 2022 and occupying 26,000 square feet in Westbury, Long Island, about a mile away from KLG’s headquarter office in Jericho, KLG’s R&D Center supports all businesses in the portfolio, ensuring the continuity, integrity, organization, and disciplined development of the institutional knowledge KLG has accumulated since 2000. Core tasks of the center include new product research and development, existing product optimization and data compilation, logistics support, warehousing, printing, staff training, and general portfolio operations support. A central kitchen supplies and supports five restaurant locations with standardized pre-processing as well as direct catering up to the highest standards and requirements. A design & build center supports Kang Long Construction (KLC) and KLG subsidiary design firm, Space + Design Inc.
