Johnson Chen

Johnson Chen was born in Fujian, China, and immigrated to the United States in 1990. In 1997, Chen went into

business independently and in 2000, he established Kang Long Group in New York. With success in commercial

and residential real estate and restaurant development projects, he led Kang Long Group to expand these while

also building successful hotel development, construction, design, and capital management businesses.

In 2012, the Ellis Island Honors Society awarded him the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, an honor with the distinction of being listed in the Congressional Record of the United States.
