The origins of Kang Long Group Inc. date back to 1997, when Johnson Chen began working in the restaurant industry in New York City. He gradually established ownership equity and invested in real estate. He established Kang Long Group Inc. in 2000. In 2006 Chen opened his first restaurant under his own brand concept. The restaurant grew quickly to two and then three locations around the New York metropolitan area, and Chen expanded Kang Long around these assets as a holding and capital management company with interests in construction, interior design, hotels, and of course restaurants. Today Kang Long Group continues to grow from its foundations in hospitality with an overall mission to add value to each community where we operate.
